Cool Paper iPhone Dock saves $30

Print, Cut, Fold

Web site Dessine Moi un Objet (make or draw something for me?) posts a very interesting method of making an attractive dock/stand for the iPhone and iPod touch. There is even a video to illustrate how to bring it all together. You need some heavy card stock, a printer, ruler and exacto knife.

Since Apple stopped including a dock with the iPhone, I’ve struggled with what to do about a dock. I’ve used a roto tool to modify the original dock to work with the 3GS, just used the cord and recently purchased a dock from Apple for around $30.

I haven’t tried it yet, but hope to. If you do let me know how it goes.

Thanks Lifehacker.com for the pointer.
